Whatever your best looks like for you is how you make a difference.
When we talk about making a difference, it’s your preference. You decide what different is. You decide what different looks like. You come to terms with how you plan on making different happen. You are the one mapping out a strategy to accomplish whatever “different” is in your life.
Understand that "your best" looks different for us all. Therefore, it is unnecessary for you to compare your best or the difference you make to what someone else is doing, has done, or plans to do.
Keep in mind that each day presents itself in a different way while seemingly appearing the same. It’s like riding a roller coaster. You know the track because you have viewed it from the ground. But now that you have sat down in the seat and are securing yourself for the ride, you have a different view of what is to come. Yet it is not until you begin moving forward that you begin to see differently again.
The point being made is that at any given moment of this journey called life, your best is what it is at that time. This is why it is so imperative that you see the view for yourself.
Don’t lose focus by looking away, or trying to keep up, or becoming discouraged because you feel you have fallen behind. NO! Remember: your best is what you are offering and the difference is the intention of that offering.
Being defined by the perception of what others have supposed your life to be can sometimes, oftentimes be out of alignment with who you are purposed to be.
You are unique. You are special. You are one of a kind. And the difference you make will be the same. Therefore, strive to be the best you and the best you will only get better as you begin to enjoy the ride.
